History
'Dixieland' was released and patented by Ison's Nursery in 1976. Plant patent #4771, Sept. 1981. The listed pedigree is 'Fry' x S. 29-49.
Comments
'Dixieland' produces a very light colored bronze fruit. Flavor was good and yields were high in our test. We do not recommend it for commercial plantings primarily because the berries split when you pick them. Fruit rot could be a problem in some years as well.
